
Good Neighbors was started by three neighbors from New Hampshire; the Chef, the Builder and the Engineer. They often met in the field behind their houses for some friendly conversation as well as tending to a shared garden of fresh vegetables. All of them shared a vision initially proposed by the chef to create delicious food that is also healthy. It became apparent that their unusual combination of experience and skills could easily be joined to create food ..... Good Neighbors was formed

Somewhere along the line a funny thing happened to food. Somebody let taste, the way nature intended it, to become trampled by substitutes and additives. Not Good Neighbors. The taste of ours products comes from the natural flavors of the basic ingredients themselves. For instance, we use real organic lemon juice instead of a cheaper, citric acid substitute . We also do not use preservatives to artificially extend the life of the product as these interfere with the natural taste of the food ingredients.

The distinctly Mediterranean flare of our current products line reflects the heritage of our chef and president. Born and raised in the Mediterranean region and schooled in Mediterranean, French and Italian cooking he brings a wide breadth of new product ideas. For example, his unique style is exhibited in our Black Bean Dip. Unlike typical black bean dips that can be chunky and watery, Good Neighbors Black bean Dip has the creaminess of Hommus but with that great distinctive black bean taste. In the future, look for a range of never before seen products !
